I am a fan of comedy. I have always dreamt that I would try it… but I get scared. Yes… I get scared of things too. Anyway, I spotted this treasure of a video on YouTube.

Imagine. You have dedicated decades of your life to a craft. Like any normal person, you may have doubts. You may have insecurities. Imagine you add other things to your core craft. You are filling in the blanks not really sure that your core thing is enough. Sometimes the stress of doubt is palpable.

Through a path of fate you end up in a conversation with a veteran in your craft. For me in my racing days it may have been having a one on one with Dave Sadowki or Doug Polen. It would be like a junior quarterback getting an afternoon with John Elway.

This is the picture I want you to have in your head. Imagine, the expert above you, sees through all your doubts and comes through with a truly insightful, genuine compliment… but goes on to encourage you to surpass it and reach your potential.
